Based in Kingston Upon Thames, Woodland employs local craftsmen with the skills necessary to make and install our range of products, which we believe is unsurpassed. Woodland as a company originally evolved from a design practice when John West; the founder of Woodland, saw how the traditional box sash window could be improved by the application of modern production techniques and innovative design.

John’s concept was to develop a window which would incorporate modernity and yet still maintain the grace and elegance of the traditional box sash window. Today this simple combination of modern design and traditional craftsmanship is remains at the core of everything we do, and has enabled us to develop an accompanying range of casement windows and French doors which compliment the traditional box sash window perfectly.
