Timber is the material of choice in any period home as it retains its original character without compromising warmth or security.

All our products are purpose made to individual requirements and are frequently chosen for traditional period homes of the Georgian, Edwardian and Victorian eras. We have long experience of working on both modern and period homes as well as listed buildings and in conservation areas.

All our windows and doors are double glazed as standard, yet the style and character of the original window is retained by the careful detailed mouldings of our glazing timbers. Woodland also use low Emissivity (low ‘E’) glass as standard and Argon gas fill all our double glazed sealed units, thus giving even greater thermal insulation and conforming to document L of the building regulations.

Where safety demands or additional noise reduction is required, a range of toughened and laminated security glass is also available.
